How to make Vintage spoon Hooks

This is a project you can literally do in a couple hours. It's cheap to make and the end result is fabulous!

Things You’ll Need:
Vintage spoons (look at thrift stores for the best prices)
A board that measures 1X6
Crown molding
Nails
Paint of your choice color
Power drill
Sand paper
Metal drill bit
Screws
Paint brush
Wood glue
Nail gun

Steps:

1. Cut your board to 3 feet long and sand the rough edges. Cut your crown molding 3 feet long. Again sand all the rough edges.

2. Line the crown molding up on the top of the board. Glue the wood glue on the back of the molding.

3. Now use your nail gun to nail the crown molding into place.

4. Now drill small holes in the widest part of the handles of your spoons.

5.Lay the spoon face down on a sturdy surface. Now slowly bend the spoon to form a L shape.

6. Turn the spoon on its back and press to shape it into a hook shape.

7. Prime the surface of the crown molding. Let dry. Then paint it any color you wish.

8. Place your spoons in the position desired on the wood. Mark where you would like the holes. Drill the holes in your sppons. Drill 2 holes through the wood.

9. Place the spoons in place and line them up with the holes. Now screw the spoons into place.
