Men really don't care what their bedrooms look like. In their little heads they think of it as a place to sleep and snore :) in.
Me on the other hand...it's the first place we see when we wake up and the last place we see when we go to sleep. It should be somewhere calming, romantic and just Bella Chic!
I am really REALLY picky on covers and things like that. I havent really found anything I'm in love with but bought something I thought I could make do with.
This Chris Maddison set called "Beckton" is on sale at Jcpenny. I was really impressed with the quality of it and how well made it is!
The look I want for my bedroom is kinda of a mix of things I love. I want it to be a vintage, shabby, chippy BUT Elegant french twist with like flocked prints, damask prints, crowns, chandeliers kind of retreat (ok let me catch my breath!)
I got this damask ottoman at good old Target which I really like but it's kind of a hard piece to make fit into any space.

I made a Chandelier print with my flocked wallpaper in the shop . Im planning on placing it over the bed to the side with a mirror and the word "LOVE"
I want to hang the 3 objects like this over the bed (still looking for the perfect mirror and "love" letters)
I want to use the found objects at flea markets, thrift stores and items bought and made in the room also. I think it just adds lots of charm! Vintage milk bottle used as a vase!
Adding antique books to have a height effect on items is a good way to add charm and also really fun cheap way to incorporate your finds!
This white little "cage" like thing I got at a thrift store. Its very very rusty which my eye caught right away . My husband looked at it as "junk" but once I got it home and arranged it with newer things it was just the perfect shabby touch.
We still need to repaint the room, add molding and get a new pieces. I'm having lots of fun!
Here are a couple things that are inspiring me right now:
