Where have I been?

AHHHH! This has been a crazy week! I haven't found one second to blog about anything!
Christian goes to preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays which means the mornings get really crazy getting him ready and his little brother ready also.

Plus the weather has been so rainy and windy!

Here is a look of my backyard this morning! I am planning on taking the boys to a little town called Julian this weekend to play in the snow. It's a very charming little town...almost feels like a mini vacation because its so different from our city life even though its only about 40min away. They are also famous for there apple pies! YUM

On the brighter side of things...here is a mini shadowbox I made. I love how it turned out ! The colors are so fun and the vintage card I used is too cute! The background is a page from a vintage Christmas book and then I added a snowflake and then this image of little bunnies dancing around a Christmas tree. Then I added some vintage mercury glass beads and lots of glitter! I added a sweet, hard to find, vintage bunny on the bottom also.

See the bunny?

Pretty trim and millinery flowers

This week I also managed to go to the best thrift store in the world (Anvets) and found a bunch of vintage glass ornaments. Here is a box of one of them...isn't it cute?

I got these 2 santas for about 2 dollars and Im trying to decide if I should keep them or sell them.

I got this vintage pillowcase. I LOVE IT!!! SO shabby and pretty

Yesterday before I went to pick up Christian at preschool I decided to go to Anvets. I pulled in, looked around and decided that there wasnt anything but a box of glass ornaments I was going to get untill I saw a bag full of these!
Vintag Putz houses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH I was sooooooooo excited. There were 9 houses and a church for 9 dollars! I grabbed it and couldnt stop smiling in the car on the way to get Christian!

This weekend I made these christmas cones. I made some with red colors and some with more golds. Sorry the pic didnt turn out too great.

Sorry, I just stuck it on the tree to take a pic

Speaking of tree...My tree has been up since Thanksgiving. It had bright red and gold ornaments on it and red bows. Yesterday I decided to take it all down and put up the vintage colored ornaments I had. Its still not done...but here is a little look. Hopefully I will be able to get it done today! I tucked some putz houses in the tree and started making a popcorn garland. That got old fast...haha So I have to make the rest today.

Im going to hop in the shower, make some chocolate chip muffins, put dinner in the crockpot, clean ....see ...my work is never done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've missed you guys!!!!
