Vintage Halloween

I'm obviously not old enough to even really know about Halloween in the 50's ( I was born in 85) but from things I've heard, movies I've seen, and pictures that have caught my eye Halloween was very different. I'm so tired of trying to have fun at Target with my 3 year old and looking at the Halloween stuff and having to pass the bloody heads etc. It freaks him out and gives me no pleasure in this time of year.



I want it to be like the 30's, 40's and 50's. When it was just harmless fun!!!!
