Christmas Advent Calendar

Every year we pull out the advent calendar and count the days down till Christmas. It's been used since I was little and some of the flaps are bent and some are even falling off. So this year Ive been looking into buying a newer one or making one. I found a great tutorial on how to make a couple different ones. I thought I would share (it might even be nice to give your swap partner!). You can tuck different treats into the days or even maybe a Bible verse! Lots of possibilities!

With minimum supplies you can make this advent calender! Its so super cute and you can adjust it to the time of year.

How about this one? I LOVE THIS!!!! I can imagine it made with some really pretty wallpaper or fabric background and then finding some amazing ornaments. Maybe have a tradition of hanging them up everyday (one a day until Christmas?)
