Flea Market Baby

I just read Flea Market Baby by Barri Leiner and Marie Moss and I'm telling you I LOVED IT! I decided to get it at the library but for the last 3 times I tried to get it of coarse it wasn't in its place. So, I decided to ask for help. The librarian asked me the name of the book and then gave me a really weird look!!!
I got home and snuggled on the couch and started reading every page. I loved just to looking and studying the pictures.
Now that I have kids, I find it so important to have them use their imagination and to have fun like the "old" days! It's funny cause I'm not that old ( I'm 23) but having kids just has brought out a wonderful appreciation to old fashioned fun. When I was little I use to love sitting on my grandpa's lap and hearing him tell stories about how he would make forts in the backyard from scraps he collected. He would entertain us for hours with his "adventures". He would start out, "
When I was a little girl." HAHA and every time we would say "Grandpa....your not a girl!"
Anyways, go get this book! Get it at the library, buy it...do what you have to! There are lots of great pictures, and some a couple of craft ideas. You don't even have to have babies to enjoy this book because the ideas are perfect for any vintage style cottage!

Get the book for a baby shower paired along with some vintage baby buttons, baby record book, baby layettes and some vintage embroidered bibs! Wrap it up in some vintage wrapping paper and some cute ribbon and you have a hit! Maybe I should make it a giveaway! What do you think?
